January Album Party on its way!
Well it’s that time of year. The cold and dark time of year. I hope you all can share in some tiki fire to keep you and your loved ones warm. Here’s a quick update.

Holiday Music 🎶
Sure we all like singing along to songs we know, but my favorite Christmas album is the classic Vince Guaraldi - A Charlie Brown Christmas. Released in 1965 as the soundtrack to the eponymous TV special, it’s a mostly instrumental album that’s equal parts chill jazz and deep nostalgia - how many of you haven’t heard the famous track Linus and Lucy at least once? I like to turn down the lights, put on the album, and simply ponder the lights of my Christmas tree in an otherwise-dark room. And if Christmas isn’t your thing, maybe it’ll still take your nervous system down a peg or two.
Bonus Track: Cast Your Fate to the Wind, originally by Vince Guaraldi but not on that album. It was his first hit, which landed him the Charlie Brown gig. George Winston does my favorite cover.
What I’m Working On
I’m building some Tiki Speakers. They’re…speakers built into carved tiki heads. Sound familiar? : ) Coming early 2025.
Upcoming Events
January Album Listening Party
Mark your calendars! The first Album Party of 2025 will be held Friday, January 10, 7:30-10pm. This month we’ll be listening to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. I could not imagine a more classic album. We’ll turn out the lights, put on the record, and dig deep. Attendance is free but space is limited, so reserve your spot today!
NAMM 2025
I’ll be at NAMM from January 23-25 showing off the Tiki Tube Amps. I’ve never been before and I am super excited to bring this project to the larger music world. If you’re there come swing through! I’ll be in booth 1242.
